I think this is Nipplewort, Lapsana communis. It crops up all over the place.
I’m always looking up the plants in my garden and those I see when out on walks but hardly ever make a note of them. This blog is my attempt to keep a record and therefore save time by only having to look things up once.

Geum urbanum: Wood avens or Herb Bennet
This plant has suddenly appeared in the garden this year. I let it grow to see what it was, and it seems a typical example of Geum urbanum (Rosaceae family), except that a couple of the shots here show six petals which seems unusual.

Garden shrub Tamarisk
I’m not sure exactly what type of Tamarisk this is, but it’s
a name I regularly forget. It's currently in full flower. Pruning soon after flowering and then leaving it to grow new shoots will ensure a good display of flowers the following spring/summer on the new growth. If you don't prune, it will grow more to a tree size.
